Niagara School of Imaging
Hello!
I’m going to spend a whole week in Niagara for a workshop with John Woodward. Needless to say, I’m really excited about it.
I find myself taking more and more workshops lately. It’s good for staying on top of things and it’s a lot of fun. One of the last I took was with James Hodgins from Sudbury, one great photog and a very energitic person. ( http://www.hodginsphotography.com )
After awhile, even in photography, you become less creative and need input from others to stay sharp. Which is a great reason to join an association such as the PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada http://www.ppoc.ca ). I think that taking workshops are a wonderful way to stay sharp. Even if sometimes, the person giving the workshop seems to know less than you do on one subject, he surely knows something else that you don’t. Like Mr. Woodward says, don’t take yourself so seriously! :-)
It’s also a good way to take a break from it all and just enjoy talking and learning about what you love the most. And networking with others is oh so important as well as such fun!
Fun-fun-fun!
