Bonjour!
Norteno est un groupe de Tango Nuevo. Pas le tango qu’on danse, celui qu’on écoute.
J’ai travaillé avec Pierre-Paul et Laurie voici quelques années. Nous étions allés à Chicoutimi pour enregistrer un spectacle pour Radio-Canada. Une très belle expérience. J’ai aussi fait la photographie de leur premier album, “Le dernier tango à Montréal”.
De nouveaux musiciens se sont joints au groupe donc, de nouvelles photos sont nécéssaires pour le site internet et la publicité. J’ai utilisé mon endroit préféré en ville pour cette séance, devinez où…

Hello!
I like to think of myself as a creative person. I want to do things my way and express life the way I see it. Photography enables me to do this and I’m very grateful for it. I also like to think that by being a portrait photographer, I earn a living by bringing happiness to people by capturing special moments (like wedding days), special people in their lives and/or special times. I really love this work!!
There is a lot of talent and creativity around us and there are many ways to use your artistic expression in a positive manner.
Which brings me to Souper Jazz.
These gentlemen combine their love of music and their love of playing music with a very good cause: the Shepherds of Good Hope. I went for a walk on Sparks Street today and they were playing there. It’s always a treat to hear them so I listened for a bit and a took a few photos. I admire their talent and generosity and the spirit in which they do this. They chose the name “Souper Jazz” to illustrate that they play music to help feed the hungry. I personnaly think their choice of name is a stroke of creative genius.

Bon, c’est lancé!
Samedi le 24 octobre, moi et mon amie Marie-Pierre offriront un spectacle de musique jazz accompagné par notre pianiste préféré Jean-Pierre Allain.
L’endroit est à déterminer, je vous tiendrai au courant des détails.
Je suis déjà un peu nerveux. Faire un spectacle à deux est un grand pas en avant mais je suis confiant qu’on s’en sortira bien.
C’est encore loin mais j’ai très hâte!
